Our Mission

Our Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services enable seniors to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes for as long as possible. Not only do we provide assistance, our trusted caregivers are also a source of connection and companionship, helping seniors continue to enjoy a wide range of activities at home and around the community.

We change people’s lives® by matching more active seniors with less active seniors. This mutually beneficial and enriching relationship provides both the caregiver and the recipient a way to give and receive®. Our organization is made up of caring and compassionate senior caregivers who are committed to bringing love into the lives of seniors with dignity and respectTM.

Live Longer. Live Stronger. Seniors Need Seniors.

Many seniors have lived in their current home for decades. Their greatest wish is to remain in the place where they have cherished memories, their personal belongings, and a sense of security. They take pride in their independence and in maintaining the life they have always lived.

At Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services, we not only provide assistance with daily living tasks, we pair seniors with a person who can relate to their challenges and who respects them for all they are doing to age gracefully in their home. This peer relationship is one in which both people feel valued and appreciated.

About Our Founders

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care service was co-founded by Kiran and Philip Yocom in order to realize Kiran’s personal mission of providing care for those who can’t care for themselves. Before coming to the United States from India, Kiran worked with Mother Teresa for 14 years.

How We’ve Grown

From our roots in Pennsylvania, and our first match in 1998, Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services has grown to include hundreds of locations in the US and Internationally. We continue to grow and evolve, adding new services to better assist seniors and refining our caregiver training as new industry best practices come to light.

To keep pace with a rapidly growing senior population, we’re actively seeking Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise partners in open markets.
