About Us

Seniors Helping Seniors Eastbourne, Hastings & Rother

Seniors Helping Seniors Eastbourne, Hastings and Rother was launched by Rena Loizou.  Steve and Lynn Cowley carried on her amazing work for two years championing flexible well paid and rewarding work for people in Eastbourne, Hastings and Rother and outstanding, affordable home care choices across the region.

In May 2025 Steve and Lynn stepped down as owners to make way for a new, local, owner to take  over in June 2025.

In the interim, the founders of Seniors Helping Seniors UK (Sally and Christian Wilse) will be supporting the wonderful care team and lead, Diana.

Christian says, “We are grateful to Steve and Lynn for the energy they brought to the prospect of running two offices. Their investments, and their time and dedication, is wholeheartedly appreciated.  As a company we champion efficiency and best practise and we are pleased to know a sustainable decision has been reached about the best way to support a very exciting business.”

How is Seniors Helping Seniors different from the other care services in Eastbourne, Hastings & Rother

Seniors Helping Seniors prioritise differently to every other care company. The focus is on person-centred care. We offer flexibility and we very carefully match carer to client.

The client has the right carer, at the right time, to suit their needs.

The carers are supported with flexible working so that they can choose the hours they work and are paid above the Real Living Wage.

Seniors Helping Seniors won the champion award for the care sector in 2021 from the Real Living Wage Foundation because of the way carers are supported. Being accepted by the Good Business Charter as a company doing business the right way, is another key differentiator.

Services provided currently:

Focus on companionship care to support clients’ activities of daily living (excluding personal or medical care).

Our Mission

Our non-medical care focusses on keeping well.   Preventing crises is very much right-place, right-time in the UK.

The cost benefits and efficiencies in our processes secure our sustainable domicilary elderly care business model.

All our services are delivered with sincere companionship because our focus is same-person care and carefully matching carer to client.

Fully managing all elements of service provides outstanding customer experiences and supports outstanding carers.

Our carers are staying active, staying social, and staying financially stable with an hourly wage which is above the Living Wage. Our franchise partners make money through doing good.

The teachable business model exemplifies profit with purpose, empowerment, inclusivity, self-governance, thought leadership and the value of local expertise.

Live Longer. Live Stronger. Seniors Need Seniors.

Our Seniors Helping Seniors home care services enable seniors to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own homes for as long as possible. Not only do we provide valued assistance, our trusted caregivers are also a source of connection and companionship, helping seniors continue to enjoy a wide range of activities at home and around the community.

We change people’s lives by matching more active seniors with less active seniors. This mutually beneficial and enriching relationship provides both the caregiver and the recipient a way to give and receive. Our organisation is made up of caring and compassionate senior caregivers who are committed to bringing love into the lives of seniors with dignity and respect.
